Before You Register A New TLD

Any individual or organization in the world may register a TLD as long it is available. If you register a TLD you are obligated to represent that to the best of your knowledge and belief, neither the registration of the TLD name, nor the manner in which it will be directly or indirectly used will infringe on the legal rights of a third party.

A dedicated Council of the Internet Names Authorization & Information Center (INAIC) is charged with the approval, delegation and creation of new TLDs. The INAIC Council will only consider requests for new TLD delegations when those requests are submitted through one of the INAIC accredited TLD Registrars. NextGenTLDs is an official and accredited TLD Registrars for the registration of pTLDs and cTLDs.

The INAIC Council shall not refuse to approve any new TLD, except for those TLDs that might cause conflicts in the future. All requests to the INAIC Council for the creation of new TLDs are made available on the NextGenTLDs TLD Registration page.

Before you register, please check if the TLD you want is available and has not already been registered by another party. You cannot register a TLD that has already been registered by someone else. Please also review the TLD Registration Procedure and the TLD Registration Fees before you proceed.
